- Boxer Transition to Jeet Kune Do Part 1
- Boxer Transition to Jeet Kune Do Part 2
In this clip we are going over a peice of footwork called the snap back. The two variations being covered are:
- Straight Back
- Back and to an anlge
This is a great peice of footwork to develop as it allows you to stay within striking distance of your opponent affording you many options.

Hey man impressed by the website. I have spent oven an hour watching the videos and reading your bolgs and I can’t believe how much info you have on here.
Straight lead punch by the numbers…..wonderful. I wonder how many will see the value in that short part of the clip? It is also interesting to see just how difficult it is to smooth out ones footwork. In your clip the differences really stand out. This clip is the first attempt at JKD foot work for the “boxer”? What you are doing in the clip looks easy, but it’s far from it and the “boxer” did well. A change in stance and footwork is a big transition. It will be fun to follow his progress over time.
I gave away one of the real values to the clip, well two if you count your footwork. Will any of the others be posted on your blog by other viewers?
Cole if you have a topic idea let me know. Also be sure to check back in as I will posting more information in the future.
