Training Plan Design

Program design simply means creating a purposeful system or plan to achieve a specific goal. The key words here are “purposeful system.” The purpose of a training plan is to provide a path for the client or student to achieve his or her goal. I usually break program designs up into several Microcycles within a single Macrocycles.

THT Fighting System

To the casual observer, stand-up skills involves a couple of individuals exchanging punches or kicks. At it’s most simple level, I admit that I find it difficult to argue with this assessment. On the other hand, if one of the individuals has been more successful at learning the science of mobility and striking than the other, then it is no longer two people exchanging blows. What the encounter becomes is one person throwing lots of punches, and missing, while taking a fairly comprehensive hammering!
