Q&A: Stretching Pre-Workout

The type of stretches I recommend as a pre-work are dynamic based. Static stretches although more commonly used in pre-work are best used post-work. The reason is they actually relax the muscle and destabilize the joints. This will lead to muscle pulls, joints injuries, decreased performance, etc.

3 Enhanced Tabatas with 2 Minute Finisher

Here is February’s S/C Workout of the month. This was a finisher to our Combative Ground Defense class. In this workout you’ll perform 3 Enhanced Tabatas and a 2 Minute Finisher. On the E-Tabatas Rotate who is performing the exercise every 50 second interval. You will complete a total of work work intervals each for each E-Tabata.
