I started training JKD with Tom about 5 years ago, it was a time in my life where I was looking for balance. I was fortunate to have Tom come into my life, I am grateful for everything I learned from him. I not only trained in JKD, I learned self defense and participated in H.E.A.T.
Tom is a great trainer and all around great individual. Thanks Tom

I had the absolute honor and privilege of training with Tom in his H.E.A.T. program for six months until I was FORCED to relocate. In those six months I gained a tremendous amount of strength and endurance that fired a spark inside of me to keep pushing my limits.
After being out of the gym and workout mode for about nine months after having my son I was completely intimidated and felt like everything that I was doing was not producing results. I had those moments of feeling like maybe I should just accept the weight gain/poor physical condition and move on, but one night I realized that maybe I just needed a little guidance, motivation and support. I found Tom's contact information online and I sent him an email. Almost immediately Tom responded and invited me to check out H.E.A.T. I was certainly in awe of the exercises they were doing, but Tom reassured me that if I was willing to work hard I could be there too.
During my time in the H.E.A.T. program I watched myself as well others in the program steadily increase their performance. I was even able to successfully complete the Fargo ½ Marathon in May of 2010 with the assistance of Tom’s H.E.A.T. program. Tom provided that guidance, motivation and support that I needed in order to make fitness and nutrition a daily routine to look forward to versus something to hide from and pull out an excuse in order to avoid.
Tom is absolutely an outstanding trainer and a large part of my fitness journey and success is because of him. If you are serious about increasing your performance or just getting back into fitness, I would highly recommend contacting Tom. One of the best decisions I made in January of 2010 was contacting Tom and being fortunate enough to cross his path of training excellence. Here I am in 2012 still hitting those fitness goals! Thanks a million, Tom!

I was 55 years of age when Tom talked me into training with him. I was somewhat apprehensive at first because I was somewhat out of shape and Tom was so fit and is like a walking encyclopedia when it comes to fitness, nutrition and knowledge of the human body and what it can endure.
Tom is a no-nonsense and very honest and truthful person. He truly is a professional in the fitness business. He had me doing things I never dreamt I was capable of doing and he was so sincere and inspiring to me in accomplishing my fitness goals.
Tom is truly all about helping people achieve their fitness goals . He also brings to the table the mental aspect of a balanced body.

Tom is unlike any other MMA Expert/ Fitness Specialist you've ever worked with.
He is one of the rare fitness professionals who not only practices what he preaches (just watch his videos), but he also values learning and passion more than trying to make a quick buck off you.
Because of this, Tom is not going to sell you something you don't need. And if you are not right for his program, he will tell you so.
With Tom, you get the Truth.
Tom has such a way with words and people, that even when he is giving us some of that "Bad Truth" that we normally don't like to hear, we tend to feel good about it anyway. It comes off as hopeful and inspirational. And for a lot of us, that is exactly what we need when our chips are down.
Bottom-line: If Tom takes you on as a client (or friend), consider it an honor and a privilege.

I have been training with Sifu for the past 3 years and I have learned more about fitness, Martial Arts and nutrition then I thought possible. He is a walking book of knowledge. He always takes training to the next level. It has been an honor to train with him and look forward to continuing my training in the years to come.

Tom's a mild-manner Clark Kent kind of guy. Underneath his intelligent and calm domineer, lies strength as strong as steel and a heart that always watches out for others. He takes a positive team building approach to tough situations. He proved to us the hand is quicker than the eye. He is our martial arts expert.
